Michael Bontekoe, MS, PA-C

Michael Bontekoe, MS, PA-C, joined The Roxbury Institute in 2016 and specialized in medical and cosmetic dermatology. He has been in practice since 2001 after spending 8 years at Central Michigan University. He completed his medical training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and various private practices throughout the Los Angeles area. Since then, he has been in private practice specializing in dermatology. In 2003, he began serving as the sole dermatology provider for AIDS Healthcare Foundation-Los Angeles, treating thousands of medically complex dermatology patients. He has a passion for clinical research and staying up-to-date on the newest treatments available. He has served on advisory boards and has worked with pharmaceutical companies to develop new medications in the dermatology field. He has appeared on television programs for the TLC network, is a contributor writer for dermatology articles, has taught university graduate students, and presented case studies at national dermatology conferences.

Michael Bontekoe currently sees a wide realm of dermatology patients in the clinic. He has special areas of interest, including acne, rosacea, acne scarring, pre-cancerous lesions, the use of cosmeceutical skincare products in dermatology, Botox injections, and using lasers for sun damaged and aging skin. He's an integral part of our incredible team and is not only an expert but is highly compassionate and works closely with our patients and the other doctors at The Roxbury Institute.
