Raised in Southern California, Dr. Amron attended both the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology. From there, he achieved his medical degree from the esteemed Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, before returning to California to finish his residency at UCSD and complete a rigorous research fellowship at UCLA.
Actively involved in his field, Dr. Amron has had numerous articles published in medical journals, authored chapters in medical textbooks on dermatologic surgery, and regularly instructs his peers on the art and science of liposculpture. One of the top dermatologic surgeons Beverly Hills has to offer, he’s a regular fixture in the media, contributing to major news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and Cosmopolitan. He was also the host of a popular Los Angeles radio show dedicated to educating the public on cosmetic surgery, “A Cut Above.”
