CoolSculpting Beverly Hills

You have worked hard, exercised and dieted, but you want to get rid of stubborn fat and trim your physique. The lean, tight form you want to see is possible without surgery or further dieting and exercise. Welcome to CoolSculpting—the only FDA-approved procedure to use controlled cold, or cooling, to target and destroy fat.

What is CoolSculpting?

Scientists at Harvard University and Massachusetts General Hospital found that the application of coldness to a specific area could target and destroy fat cells. With further testing and development, CoolSculpting was created.

Because fat cells freeze more quickly than the muscle and skin that surround them, CoolSculpting can be applied safely to target, freeze, crystallize and ultimately destroy fat cells. CoolSculpting technology is safe for the other tissue, which remains completely unharmed.

Meanwhile, the destroyed fat cells are processed naturally by your body and disposed of. The fat is gone, and those cells won’t return. What remains is a lean, trim and more sculpted physique.

What does the CoolSculpting treatment involve?

Because it is completely non-invasive, CoolSculpting is a comfortable procedure that requires no anesthetic. There are no lasers, injections, medications or needles involved during a CoolSculpting treatment.

You will lie back while the device is placed over the area you want to target for fat reduction. The device is turned on, exposing the fat cells to the intense cold. These cells crystallize and die, and the body begins its natural work of disposing of them, just as it would any other dead cells.

For the first few minutes of the CoolSculpting procedure, you will feel some pressure and intense cold. This feeling soon dissipates, and you can fully relax, read, scroll through your work or do some emails. Many patients like to indulge in a rest or nap during their treatment.

There is no downtime or recovery period after CoolSculpting. You can get right back to your day and enjoy all of your usual activities once the treatment is over.

Once the fat cells are destroyed, your body will get to work on processing and disposing of them. This takes a couple of months, as your body needs a chance to fully flush the dead cells out.

Once the treatment is complete, patients usually notice a reduction of fat, but the full, complete results take more time. You will be able to enjoy your leaner appearance, saying goodbye to the stubborn areas of fat you were battling.

What areas can be treated with CoolSculpting?

This treatment was especially designed to help you address stubborn areas of the body that hang onto fat. CoolSculpting reduces the fat in those areas, helping you sculpt and tone your body into the shape you want to see when you look in the mirror.
