Non-Surgical Facelifts

Non-surgical facelifts can take a decade off of your appearance, without significant downtime or surgical scarring! Combined treatments can even surpass the traditional facelift results, because in addition to a lifted look, non-surgical options include adding volume and resurfacing poor skin texture. A non-surgical facelift rejuvenates your appearance by combining fillers, lasers, and skin-tightening procedures. When put together, the final result is a natural, youth-restoring look with less downtime and no visible scats.

Treatments have moved beyond just smoothing wrinkles. Today, our board-certified cosmetic surgeon can add structure to the cheeks, redefine jawline contours and re-volumize temples and other hollows. Because numerous newer filler types have distinct uses and because skin tightening and resurfacing technologies target different layers of the skin, when combined, wrinkles and sagging can be softened and new definition created without surgery.

Treatments

Botox/Dysport

Botox and Dysport injections relax facial muscles, so they cannot contract to form or deepen wrinkles, lines and grooves. In the hands of one of the expert injectors at The Roxbury Institute, Botox injections can smooth forehead lines and “angry 11s,” soften vertical neck cords and crow’s feet, and lift the corners of the mouth and eyes without side effects. Multiple treatments over time can improve fine lines and less and less product is typically needed as muscles become smaller. More advanced treatments with these muscle relaxants can also smooth a pebbly chin, elongate the face, and reduce a masculine jawline.

Kybella

Kybella is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment that sculpts the chin and jawline. It is made out of a chemical produced by your body to aid in the digestion of fats. When injected into the skin, it permanently dissolves fat cells with minimal risk. It is especially beneficial for a double chin that is genetic, hormone, and weight-related.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are used to soften lines, smooth folds, and volumize hollows. If you do not want surgery, but wish to restore a more youthful look, dermal fillers may be a good choice for you.

Types of dermal fillers for facial rejuvenation

  • Hyaluronic Acid Fillers (HA) – HA fillers like Restylane, Belotero, Juvederm and Voluma are made of a natural substance found in the body. When combined with water, HA swells, plumping the skin and supporting structures that have lost elasticity and volume. The result is youth restoring fullness.
  • Semi-permanent fillers – Whereas HA fillers fill more immediately, Radiesse and Sculptra replace lost volume more slowly. These fillers stimulate natural collagen production over the course of weeks to provide a natural lifting effect around the cheeks, in the temples, and around the mouth and jawline. Typically, a series of treatments is required to reach optimal rejuvenation.

Silhouette InstaLift (The thread lift)

Silhouette InstaLift is a minimally invasive procedure that lifts the mid-face, aging cheeks and jowls to naturally reduce facial grooves and folds without surgery. No cutting or suturing is required, but for comfort a local anesthetic will be provided.

The InstaLift procedure is made of absorbable treads that are biocompatible, meaning that your body recognizes it as being familiar and doesn’t cause allergic reactions. The implanted resorbable threads last about 18 months, and in addition to immediately lifting, they stimulate production of collagen, which provides additional rejuvenation over time. As the treads absorb, and aging continues, your face will gradually return to its un-lifted state.

Skin Rejuvenation

One thing that a surgical facelift will not do, is to improve the tone and texture, tone and uneven color of your skin.

Laser resurfacing with or without REGENEO Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), can do all of these things. Laser resurfacing removes the surface layers of skin, where sun and environmental damage has caused damage, discolorations and dullness. Regeneo PRP uses natural factors from your own blood to transform and repair your skin. Platelets, growth factors and stem cells are isolated and applied to your skin after laser resurfacing to both accelerate healing and give enhance laser results.

Skin Tightening

Radiofrequency Microneedling

RF Microneedling is a state-of-the-art procedure to reduce skin laxity, improve skin tone and tightness, and even minimize acne scars. Tiny needles create micro injuries in the skin, which initiate the body’s healing abilities, culminating in increased collagen production. Radiofrequency energy delivers heat to deep skin layers, which induces further assists in skin remodeling and firming. The combined result is improved skin firmness, tone, and tightness.

It is possible to look younger today without invasive surgery. A non-surgical facelift can restore a youthful appearance safely and with less downtime than many surgical options. Combining nonsurgical skin resurfacing and tightening with injectable fillers can lift and tone, define the jaw line and tighten the neck.
